Prof. Dr. Hartmut Juhl Founder and Chief Executive Officer- Hartmut Juhl attended medical school at Hamburg University, Germany. Afterwards he worked for 10 years in surgical oncology and cancer research at Hamburg and Kiel University Hospital, respectively. In 1998 he moved to Washington DC and became Associate Professor for Oncology and Surgery at Georgetown University. As a full time scientist he worked in cancer research at Lombardi Cancer Center. Realizing the urgent need for high-quality biobanks and better resources to develop individualized therapies in cancer he founded Indivumed GmbH in Hamburg and returned to his hometown. |

Dr. Heinz Joachim List Vice President Business Development- Heinz Joachim List earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry at the Technical University of Darmstadt. In 1994, he started as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Pharmacology at the Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC, and later was appointed to a junior faculty position with an ongoing interest in and focus on cancer research at Georgetown’s Lombardi Cancer Center. In 2002, Heinz Joachim earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. He has led Business Development at Indivumed GmbH in Hamburg, Germany since its founding. |

PD Dr. Kerstin David Vice President Research & Services- Kerstin David received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of Hamburg. Afterwards, she worked for six years as Assistant Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Hamburg and at the Cancer Research Center, University of Manoa, Hawaii, respectively. During her whole career her research was focused on cancer research, especially proteomics, signal transduction and apoptosis. In 2002 she became member of the Indivumed team heading research and laboratory services. |

Dr. Annette Kassen Vice President Clinical Research- Annette Kassen received her Diploma (M.Sc.) in Biology and her Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Tumor Cell Biology, in 1990 and 1994, respectively, both from Ruhr-University of Bochum, Germany. After the completion of her post-doctoral fellowship at Northwestern University Medical Center in 1996, she returned to Germany and continued her research as Head of Research Laboratories at Bochum’s University Hospital. From 1999 – 2008 Annette Kassen worked as Project Leader for Medac GmbH where she was responsible for the conduction of phase III clinical trials in the field of uro-oncology. In 2004 she received her Master of Public Health (MPH) from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. She now serves as Vice President of Clinical Research and quality management representative at Indivumed GmbH. |

Gudrun Niewel Vice President Finance & Controlling- Gudrun Niewel achieved her master’s degree in business at Münster University in 1986. Following the completion of her degree, she worked in several controlling and management positions in the electronics industry. From 1997 to 2005 she was responsible for controlling at a German biotech company and was involved in the company’s IPO in 1999. She then spent 3 years as the CFO at a Hamburg port services corporation. In November 2008 Gudrun Niewel joined Indivumed GmbH as Vice President Finance & Controlling. |
