INDIVUMED provides clinical data collected from medical records as well as extensive interviews with patients and their physicians corresponding to all biospecimens. HIV and hepatitis serology is routinely examined at a centralized clinical partner laboratory.
Furthermore, we meticulously document all relevant sample data on procurement during surgeries at our partner hospitals and subsequent processing and storage through INDIVUMED’s study nurses.
Long-term follow-up data are obtained by interviewing patients at outpatients’ clinics and by contacting their physicians.
All data are thoroughly cross checked with respect to completeness, correctness and plausability by INDIVUMED’s clincial data management department and are finally stored in INDIVUMED’s Oracle-based database, IndivuNET.
