Human biospecimens that reflect molecular reality
INDIVUMED provides highest quality human tissue and body fluid biospecimens as well as corresponding sample and clinical data (including outcome data) from more than 10,000 cancer patients. This provides customers with a substantial competitive benefit, in particular, when aiming at drug profiling or drug target/biomarker validation via differential analyses of tumor patient-derived biospecimens versus controls.
Biospecimens are collected and prepared following Standardized Operating Procedures (SOPs). This includes accrual of tissue and body fluids at identical time points before and after surgery as well as identical transport, preparation and storage procedures.
Indivumed’s biobank standard meets and with respect to tissue quality and data documentation exceeds the recommendation for best practices for biobanking of the National Cancer Institute (NCI).
Archived or prospectively collected biospecimens and corresponding clinical and sample data from the following cancer tissue types can be provided:
