A special capability of Indivumed is related to its daily access to fresh tumor tissue. A variety of primary cells, both tumor cells and fibroblasts are available. In addition, Indivumed has established protocols for preparation of primary cells from resected tumors and normal tissue which can be applied in customer guided projects. Isolation of specific cells types can be performed based on FACS and magnetic bead technology.
On request, all primary cells are accompanied with extensive clinical data and, in most cases, with original tissues snap frozen and formalin fixed according to the Indivumed Standard of Biobanking.
