The extensive knowledge about handling and analyzing tissue, the variations among tissues from different patients on the macroscopic and histological level allows Indivumed to provide the highest standard for specific tissue preparation. Indivumed warrants that all tissue preparations are quality controlled and performed by experts in the field.
Cell Subpopulations
Under special circumstances, molecular analysis of tissue needs to study cell subpopulations of tissue, e.g. cancer or tumor cells within a tumor.
Indivumed offers to isolate from its high-quality tissue cell populations using Laser Capture Microdissection (LCM) technique using the P.A.L.M. technology which is based on a cold laser and, thus, protects sensitive molecules such as RNA or proteins. Indivumed’s highly qualified staff and pathologists prepare for customers specific cell subpopulations for all kind of molecular studies on request. Of course, quality controls such as microscopic pictures of isolated cell populations are always part of service offerings.
